What is a Telehealth Assessment?
A telehealth psychological assessment is a structured evaluation completed remotely using secure, HIPAA-compliant video conferencing and standardized assessment procedures. When appropriate, telehealth can offer flexibility while maintaining professional standards for test administration, interpretation, and feedback.

Appropriateness
Telehealth assessments may be considered depending on age, referral question, presenting concerns, and testing needs. Determination of appropriateness is made on a case-by-case basis following an initial screening by our administration staff.

When In-Person is Recommended
In-person assessment remains available and may be recommended for many referrals.

Some referral questions require in-person testing due to the nature of the measures, the need for controlled administration conditions, or the level of behavioral observation required.

What is needed for a telehealth assessment

A quiet, private space with minimal distractions

Reliable internet connection

Laptop or desktop computer with camera and microphone

Ability to follow instructions for interactive tasks and screen sharing

For adolescents: an adult available for setup and troubleshooting as appropriate

Phone screens are NOT large enough
